## Differentiation

**Concept Development:**

Flexible Groups-Assemble students according to levels of math knowledge so that each group has a diverse range of math ability. By doing so, the advanced students are able to help the ones who struggle. The advanced students develop a greater understanding by teaching and the other students are able to comprehend the lesson with the help of their peers.

**Choice:**

Choice Boards-When completing a small project on similar figures, students will have the choice of presenting their project using a poster, prezi, or PowerPoint.

**Direct Instruction:**

Tiered Assignments- Some students will only need to complete 3 of the 5 questions assigned.

**Inquiry:**

Independent Study-Allow students to use the personal tutor on the following link for the assessment questions to reinforce dilations, scale factor, and similarity.
